Summer Camp - Girls Flag
Introducing our first annual girl’s flag football camp in Berkeley Heights! This is a new sport that is gaining national attention, and we are looking forward to teaching the skills needed to excel in this game to all girls who are interested.
General football rules, strategy and sportsmanship will be stressed.
We take pride in teaching our athletes the importance of hard work, responsibility, and competition.
We believe these skills translate into future success in athletics, but more importantly, in life.
CAMP CONCENTRATIONS:
- PROPER BLOCKING FORM
- BALL SECURITY
- THROWING AND CATCHING
- PUNTING
- ULTIMATE FOOTBALL & 7-7 GAMES
- AGILITY DRILLS
- COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES
*All campers will receive instruction in all offensive and defensive positions. We believe all football players should learn how to catch a football, throw a football, and play offense and defense.
Girls Flag Football Camp 2024
WHEN: Monday July 15th - Thursday July 18th (rain date Friday, July 19th), 9am - 12pm
WHERE: Memorial Field (205 Plainfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ)
WHO: Girls entering grades 5-8. **No experience required! Camp is open to non-residents**
COST: $160
INCLUDES: Customized Flag Camp T-Shirt (if registered by June 1st)
NOTE: All campers will be in groups according to grade
