Wrestling
BH PAL wrestling is open to all Berkeley Heights and Mountainside residents.
Wrestling has been one of the fastest growing sports in the school district and the vast majority of CMS and GL wrestlers came through the PAL program.

Ages
Boys and girls grades 1-8
When
Season begins mid November and runs through February.
Where
Practices are held in the Governor Livingston wrestling room.
Practices
1 or 2 days per week, depending on age and ability.
Competition
Competitions are optional and will generally be on the weekends.
Uniforms
Wrestlers must provide their own wrestling shoes (though we do have a big selection of "hand me downs") and headgear.
Wrestlers who are competing will be given a singlet for the season, it must be returned at the end of the year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wrestle and play In-town basketball this winter?
Yes! In-town basketball generally does not interfere with the wrestling schedule.
Can I join the program if I am from another school district?
This will require approval and may incur an additional charge. Email Bill at bfaxon@bhpal.org if interested.
